AMI fiberglass SWRO 1200 psi membrane housings are specially designed for seawater reverse osmosis membranes used in marine applications. Commonly used in watermakers, AMI FRP seawater pressure vessels are suitable for seawater desalination in shipboard applications, watermakers, land-based desalinators and sea-based desalinators. AMI FRP seawater RO membrane housings are designed to fit industry-standard 2.5" x40" standard male style elements (AMI Membranes/ DOW FilmTec style). Direct connection with no adapters required. AMI seawater pressure vessels use a strong coated fiberglass manufactured with a computer controlled winding process for exceptionable quality and precision. To ensure maximum quality, the pressure vessels undergo extensive fatigue tests, strategic thermocouple positioning, accurate temperature flow curing process, and are finished with UV resistant polyurethane paint. Fiberglass membrane pressure vessels sold complete with end plugs and closure hardware. Feed/brine port fittings are not included. Compatible with most industry-standard 2.5" x 40" sized seawater membrane elements including AMI brand M-S2540A, DOW (DuPont) FilmTec SW30-2540, Spectra (Katadyn) FT-MB-40.
